The Machame Route, also known as the "Whiskey Route," is one of the popular routes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. The route is known for its scenic beauty and challenging terrain, making it a favorite among adventurous climbers. The climb typically takes 6-7 days, allowing climbers to acclimatize to the altitude. The route starts at the Machame Gate and traverses through rainforests, moorlands, and alpine deserts before reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak.
